A Heartfelt Thank You: Prop A Passes with Overwhelming Community Support

Updated: Apr 23, 2025

To our Meramec Ambulance District community,

Now that we have received the certified results, on behalf of the entire team at Meramec

Ambulance District, thank you for your overwhelming support in approving Proposition A in

the April 8, 2025, election. Your trust and confidence in our mission speak volumes about

the strength of our community and the shared commitment to a safer, healthier future.

The improvements funded by Prop A are vital to ensuring that our emergency response

services remain strong, reliable, and prepared to meet growing needs. With these

resources, we’ll be able to build two new stations, replace aging ambulances, upgrade

critical medical equipment, and renovate existing facilities—all with the goal of delivering

the highest level of care to our residents.

In recent months, we’ve weathered significant challenges together—from a devastating

tornado to area flooding. Through it all, our community has shown incredible resilience,

unity, and support. Prop A is more than a vote; it’s a reflection of that spirit and a forward-

looking investment in the well-being of our entire district.

I’m incredibly proud to serve as your Chief and to lead a dedicated team of professionals

who give their all every day to serve and protect this community. This vote affirms our work

and empowers us to continue that mission with renewed strength and purpose.

Thank you for standing with us. We are honored to serve you.

With gratitude,

Taz Meyer, Chief
