Meramec EMS held the First Annual 5k Run/ Walk for a Cure on October 17th at Shaw Nature Reserve. Participants enjoyed the beautiful scenery, chair massages offered by Mind, Body, & Spirit, and music provided by the DJ Rickster.

Over $3,700 was raised through t-shirt sales, registration, food sales, and donations.

 

 The top three males and females were given medals.

 

 Males:

#3 Rich McKausen.

 

Females:

#1 Jenny Ulrich,

#2 Miley Davis,

#3 Terri Vilcek.

 

The "Most Spirited" Medal was awarded to Carly Fenton.

 

After the race, participants had a chance to win one of many great attendance prizes. Meramec would like to thank all of the participants, sponsors and volunteers who made this event possible.
