Meramec Ambulance District tries to host American Red Cross blood drives twice a year. Once in the spring and again in the fall. Your support is always needed and appreciated. We would like to thank all of the donors from the area for your support over the years, and helping to make our drives a success! Meramec held its biannual Red Cross Blood Drive on October 8, 2009 at station one in Pacific. There was a great turn out, over 30 people came to donate. Twenty four usable units of blood were collected. Up to three lives can be saved with just one unit of blood. Thanks to the community for your support and we will see you in the spring!
