MERAMEC AMBULANCE DISTRICT
NOTICE OF OPEN BOARD MEMBER POSITION
Pursuant to Section 190.052 RSMo., other applicable Missouri law and the relevant Meramec Ambulance District (the District) public body governance documents (collectively the "Vacancy Governance Documents"), public notice is hereby given that a member position on the District's Board of Directors is vacant to be filled by a "qualified person", as provided in Section 190.050 RSMo and the other Vacancy Governance Documents. Interested individuals should consult the Vacancy Governance Documents to submit a letter of interest and resume to the Chief of the District, whose office is located at 3279 HWY 100 Villa Ridge, MO 63089, to serve the unexpired term of the preceding director. Interested applicants shall submit a letter of interest to the Chief of the District within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice in a newspaper having a general circulation within the District to submit his/her letter of interest. Applicants deemed qualified pursuant to Vacancy Governance Documents shall be interviewed by the Board of Directors pursuant to said applicable Vacancy Governance Documents. The Board shall appoint a qualified person to serve the unexpired term of the preceding director. For a list of qualifications and requirements, interested individuals may refer to RSMo 190.001 to 190.245 known as the "Comprehensive Emergency Medical Services System Act" and/or any public body governance documents.
Sub-District Number Two (2) is that portion of the District south of the town running along Hwy F to the junction with the Meramec River, west along the river to just West of Hwy N, North to Gray Summit then east along Hwy 100 to east of Hwy OO to just North of I-44 then West to just East of Gray Summit.
The vacant district position is from the ambulance election district known as Sub- District Number Two.
The business office, where the Chief can be reached, is located at 3279 Hwy. 100 Villa Ridge, Mo 63089. Normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. (CST), Monday through Thursday. The business office is closed on holidays. The business office telephone number is 636-451-5816.
Interested applicants shall submit a letter of interest and resume to the Chief within seven (7) calendar days of the newspaper publication date. Applicants deemed qualified pursuant to applicable law and Article 2, Section 2.2 of these By-Laws shall be interviewed by the Board during either or both a work session or a regular meeting as determined by the Board, within four (4) weeks after the deadline for submitting applications
